Abstract:

The year of 1947 was an important year with a turning point. The contrast between the strengths and weaknesses of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party in the battlefield gradually changed. Great changes had taken place in favor of the latter. The change began in the game of "attack and turn" around Yan'an in Northern Shaanxi. The CPC Central Committee's was a significant and far-reaching strategic turn in the process of the war of liberation. It promoted the liberation war to a new height and was a key move of the war situation with great change. Whether the CPC Central Committee voluntarily abandoned Yan'an, stayed in Northern Shaanxi or moved to northern Shaanxi, it fully reflected the strategic thinking of the CPC Central Committee. A thorough study on the history and its enlightenment of the CPC Central Committee's transition to northern Shaanxi can not only help us understand the great historical significance of the war, but also help us understand and grasp the importance of strategic thinking.
