Research on Intelligent Logistics’ Impact on the Resilience of Agricultural Enterprise Supply Chains

文章基于2014—2024年31个省级面板数据和A股农业上市企业数据,建立智慧物流评价指标体系和农业企业供应链韧性评价指标体系,利用熵权法赋予权重,分别运用固定效应模型和中介效应模型探究智慧物流对农业企业供应链韧性的作用机制。结果表明,智慧物流通过提升供应链抵抗力和恢复力显著提升农业企业供应链韧性,供应链效率和企业资产专用性发挥中介效应作用。进一步研究分析发现智慧物流对农业企业供应链韧性的影响具有企业异质性和区域异质性,具体表现如下:智慧物流对于民营农业企业的供应链韧性提升具有促进作用,对国营农业企业供应链韧性的作用则相反;智慧物流对东部地区农业企业供应链韧性的促进作用显著强于西部地区,智慧物流对中部地区农业企业供应链韧性则具有抑制作用。研究结果有助于根据地区差异和企业性质提出针对性的智慧物流政策,为有效提升农业企业供应链韧性提供理论指导。

Abstract:

Based on panel data of 31 provinces and A-share listed agricultural-enterprise data from 2014 to 2024, this study establishes an evaluation index system for intelligent logistics and a resilience evaluation index system for agricultural-enterprise supply chains. In this vein, weights are allocated utilizing the entropy approach, and a fixed effect model and a mediation effect model are deployed respectively to delve into how intelligent logistics influences the resilience of the supply chains. The results indicate that intelligent logistics can significantly enhance the resilience of the supply chains by improving their resistance and recovery capabilities. Also, the enhancement of supply chain efficiency and the reduction of enterprise asset specificity play a mediating role. Further analysis reveals that there is a heterogeneity in both enterprise and regional level in terms of intelligent logistics’ impact on the resilience of agricultural-enterprise supply chains. Specifically, intelligent logistics can promote the supply chain resilience of private agricultural enterprises, while it has an opposite effect on state-owned ones. It is also found that the positive effect on supply chain resilience is significantly more pronounced in eastern China compared to the western region. Moreover, it is observed that intelligent logistics inhibits the supply chain resilience of agricultural enterprises in the central region. These findings can contribute to the development of targeted intelligent logistics policies based on regional differences and enterprise characteristics, aiming to provide theoretical guidance for effectively enhancing the resilience of agricultural-enterprise supply chains.
