Abstract:

Xi Jinping’s Cultural Thought provides a scientific guideline for cultivating youth’s cultural confidence. In terms of value goals, it plays a significant role in strengthening youth’s cultural self-confidence and self-reliance, consolidating national ideological security, and accelerating the construction of a socialist cultural power. Regarding fundamental principles, the cultivation of youth’s cultural confidence under Xi Jinping’s Cultural Thought should adhere to the following principles: aligning Party leadership over youth with scientific guidance, advancing theoretical deepening and practical transformation in a spiral progression, synchronizing individual growth with national strategies, and integrating cultural preservation with innovation and openness. In terms of practical paths, it involves strengthening theoretical armament to solidify ideological foundations, practicing socialist core values to foster a consensus on values, and better telling Chinese stories to showcase the charm of Chinese culture. Under the guidance of Xi Jinping’s Cultural Thought, Chinese youth of the new era will undoubtedly become the practitioners of cultural confidence and the vanguard for national rejuvenation, thus providing enduring spiritual motivation for comprehensively building a modern socialist country.
