Abstract:The spirit of perseverance serves as the enduring spiritual code sustaining the Chinese nation. Integrating this ethos into labor education constitutes a crucial mission for universities in moral cultivation, representing the essential pathway to nurture qualified socialist builders and reliable successors with balanced development across five key dimensions: moral integrity, intellectual growth, physical fitness, aesthetic appreciation, and practical skills. From a theoretical perspective, this spirit embodies the essence of Marxist labor philosophy, serving both as an inherent component of modern labor education and an inexhaustible driving force for productive endeavors. In terms of value significance, embedding perseverance into university labor education fulfills the practical needs of achieving China’s modernization goals, thus profoundly influencing the development of courageous young people in the new era and their personal fulfillment. Regarding implementation strategies, it is suggested that a four-in-one integration mechanism should be built, that is, the combination of value guidance, practical forging, cultural immersion, and institutional guarantee. It is also suggested that the deep integration of the spirit of perseverance and labor education should be systematically promoted by developing the identification with shared knowledge, emotions, and behaviors.
