Abstract:The spirit of educators is an important spiritual pillar for building an educational power and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. In the process of shaping the spirit of educators, the power of role models has a profound impact on the professional values and behavioral choices of educators through multi-level internal mechanisms. In the shaping of the spirit of educators among teachers in private colleges and universities, the exertion of the power of role models still faces numerous practical dilemmas, including the absence of systems, lack of resources, professional identity, and role conflicts. Therefore, it is suggested that the shaping path of the spirit of educators among teachers in private colleges and universities be optimized based on the power of role models from aspects such as system improvement, resource input, strengthening of role identity, professional development incentives, social recognition improvement, and campus culture construction.
